CRO: Roller - Full Course

Introduction:

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
A course designed to equip participants with the basic skills to safely and effectively operate a Roller in a civil and Mining setting.


COURSE CONTENT:
RMS has long history with years of experience with our extensive fleet of mobile plant equipment. You will benefit from this training by understanding these five critical parts to becoming a successful Roller operator:
1. Pre Start Inspections
2. Cabin Controls and Dashboard orientation
3. Common activities and/or tasks for Roller operators
4. Shut down procedure
5. Machine fundamentals, Safety & Emergencies

This course gives you a thorough understanding for the theory and operations of a Roller. The course is conducted in two parts, theoretical and practical. The theory component is conducted online and can be completed at your convenience in your own time.

COURSE FEE: $850.00

COURSE DURATION: One day (Practical only - Theory completed online prior)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

  • 18 years old

  • Must hold current C Class licence as a minimum

  • Sound verbal and written comprehension of the English language is mandatory

  • Steel cap boots, long pants and a long sleeved shirt are required for the practical component.

  • Two forms of identification including one of which is photo ID
