COURSE DESCRIPTION:
A course designed to equip participants with the basic skills to safely and effectively operate a Dozer in a Civil and Mining setting. This course uses a highly realistic simulated environment.

COURSE CONTENT: You will benefit from this training by understanding these five critical parts to become a successful dozer operator:
1. Pre Start Inspections
2. Cabin Controls and Dashboard orientation
3. Common activities and/or tasks for dozer operators
4. Shut down procedure
5. Machine fundamentals, Safety & Emergencies
UNIT OF COMPETENCY: RIIMPO308F - Conduct Tracked Dozer Operations

COURSE FEE: $700.00
This course is offered both on demand as an onsite course using clients equipment or as a public course using practical simulation. Both courses require the completion of online theory with a one day practical component. The online theory is based on a D6 Model dozer.

ENTRY REQUIEMENTS: 

• 18 years old

• Sound verbal and written comprehension of the English language is mandatory

• Two forms of identification one of which must be photo ID

PLEASE NOTE THE BELOW AVAILABLE COURSES WILL BE CONDUCTED USING PRACTICAL SIMULATION ON OUR STATE OF THE ART "TENSTAR" SIMULATOR - This machine utilizes an operators seat with sensitive electric actuators, Similar to the mining industry equipment this means that the seat has a weight rating of 120kg. Please be mindful of this prior to booking.
