HLTAID009: Perform CPR

A nationally recognised training course for Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009)

Introduction:

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
A half-day accredited course, providing a sound general grounding in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation. The course covers essential skills required to administer CPR to a victim of an accident, injury or any life-threatening situation. This course will require the completion of online content prior to completing the practical training at RMS premises.


Course Content:
The course covers the following areas:

  • Expired Air Resuscitation

  • Emergency Procedures

  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR

  • Heart Conditions

  • Airway Management

  • Unconsciousness

HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Course Duration: Instructor-led training - Half day (8am-1pm) 

RMS Entry Requirements:

  • 18 years old

  • Sound verbal and written comprehension of the English language is mandatory
  • Basic computer skills
  • Enclosed shoes, smart casual wear
     


Frequency: Monthly on Fridays refer to the Website calendar

Course Fee: $80.00

If you are directly employed, or previously been employed, in the Building and Construction industry in WA you may qualify for CTF funding which can significantly reduce your training costs.

Expiry: Current industry standard recommends being updated every 12 months to remain current in skills (generally required if needed for your job i.e childcare worker)
